  • National Institute for Social Research into Mental Illness
This year SSO is proud to launch a national social research institute. A first-ever in Canada, the institute will be dedicated to finding innovative solutions to help people living with mental illness. In support of this enterprise, the fundraising department is seeking a dynamic and passionate professional to join our team in the position of Major Gifts Coordinator (MGC) to help increase its major gifts portfolio by 30 per cent.

Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Development the Major Gifts Coordinator will be part of a dynamic team working to achieve fundraising goals and donor relations with a focus on individuals and businesses who currently or could potentially make significant monetary contributions of $10,000+ to SSO while maintaining an excellent working relationship with donors and other employees. The MGC should be familiar with and support the strategic goals of SSO.
