2016 Peace of Minds Walk in Ontario

The 23rd annual Peace of Minds Walk gave people in Ontario a reason to hope this May and June. Friends, neighbours, family members and individuals living with schizophrenia and psychosis walked in eight communities across Ontario to raise funds for the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario (SSO).

Every year the Peace of Minds Walk is a public statement that brings hundreds of supporters to the streets of cities across the province to draw awareness to an illness that affects over 135,000 Ontarians.

Combined the walks raised over $40,000 for SSO’s programs and services.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2016 walk. View photos from walks across the province on our Facebook page.
