The JAMH program receives guidance from a diverse and experienced Advisory Committee. Members include:
- Hon. Richard Schneider: Justice presiding over the Toronto Mental Health Court
- Dr. Scott Woodside: Senior Clinician, Assessment and Triage Unit, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health
- Sergeant Jim Biskey: Police officer and co-founder of the Chatham-Kent HELP team
- Dr. Dorothy Cotton: Co-chair of the Canadian National Committee for Police/Mental Health Liaison and clinical neuropsychologist with Correctional Service Canada
- Lynette Fritzley: Crown Attorney and Mental Health Court Team Lead, Kitchener
- Jim Leveque: Regional Forensic Services Program Coordinator, Mental Health Centre Penetanguishene and co-chair, Human Services and Justice Coordinating Committee (HSJCC), Simcoe-Muskoka Region
- Patricia Wilson: Manager, Victim/Witness Assistance Program, Ministry of the Attorney General
- Elgin Barrett: Consumer/survivor and peer support facilitator
- Lucille Langlois: Family member and co-founder ANCRSS
- Kelly Crago: Family member and active member of ANCRSS
