Restoring Hope and Moving Forward: Stories from Families about Coping with the Challenges of Serious Mental Illness
The Justice and Mental Health (JAMH) program is pleased to make available Restoring Hope and Moving Forward: Stories from Families about Coping with the Challenges of Serious Mental Illness. This resource consists of nine stories told from the perspective of a family member who has a loved one with a mental illness and, in some cases, also has had conflict with the law. Each story offers a very personal and honest account of what it is like to cope when your loved one is living with a serious mental illness. It is our hope that this resource will provide some comfort to those who may be feeling alone in their situation as well as offer some ideas of how you can cope and move forward with your life.
