The Mayor's Walk of Kingston celebrates volunteers and supports the work of the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario - Southeast Region (SSO) and Volunteer and Information Kingston.

This year marks the 11th Anniversary of the Mayor’s Walk for Volunteerism and we are excited about all the activities planned for that day.

Registration begins at noon on Sunday April 18th, at 12:30 we will kick off the celebrations in Confederation Park with a barbeque lunch! While listening to music, families and friends can have their faces painted or have a balloon creation made in anticipation of the start of the walk.

We'll take a leisurely stroll through historic downtown Kingston for this 5 km walk.  What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Please encourage your friends and family members to support the SSO - Southeast Region by raising much needed funds for our programs. The money raised at the Mayor’s Walk stays in our community and serves our citizens.
