Description: Cannabis is legal ... but is it safe to use? Early and regular marijuana use has been associated with an increased risk of psychosis and schizophrenia. Youth are especially vulnerable.

Guest speakers will include:

Kaelen Boyd, MSW – Policy Analyst, Schizophrenia Society of Ontario

Dr. Suzanne Archie, MD, FRCP – Clinical Director, Cleghorn Early Intervention in Psychosis Program

Katie Fleming – Knowledge Broker, The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction

Andrew Mendes – Director of Operations, Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services

Ilyas Khamis – Youth advocate who will share his personal experience with psychosis
