Peace of Minds Yogathon 2020

Annual Peace of Minds Yogathon

In light of ongoing developments associated with the COVID-19, out of caution for the health and wellbeing of everyone planning to attend our Peace of Minds Yogathon in Ancaster on March 28, we have decided to postpone this event until further notice. We are looking forward to rescheduling this event once time allows. We appreciate your patience and support. For any questions or concerns, please contact Marina Sue-Ping at

Across three communities in Ontario, families, friends and supporters of the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario (SSO) will come together to raise awareness of mental illness and support vital programs & services provided by SSO.

This winter, we are dedicated to raising awareness while leveraging the benefits of yoga and meditation on mental health. Recognizing the link between mindfulness and mental wellness early, the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario (SSO) was the first organization to hold an annual yoga event supporting mental wellbeing.

Help SSO make a positive difference in the lives of people, families and communities affected by schizophrenia and psychotic illnesses.

Join us to help raise funds and spread the message of HOPE to more than 140,000 people in Ontario living with schizophrenia and psychotic illnesses, and so many of their friends, families, and loved ones.

The Peace of Minds Yogathon is open to everyone. Enjoy a fun day of yoga, a mental health presentation & meditation classes. Yoga practice can contribute to overall mental wellbeing and physical wellness. You can show your support and raise awareness about the importance of mental health by joining a Peace of Minds Yoga event in your community, hosting a karma class or hosting an event of your own.
